About Us

The Sovereign Weekly is part of a larger project loosely named The Sovereign Project.

The Sovereign Project – Mission Statement

Democracy is predicated on the notion that members of a democratic society are sovereign – that they are best suited to know what is, or is not, to their benefit.

However, in order for us to even have the chance of truly knowing what is, or is not, to our benefit, we must be informed as to what the true nature of reality is.

The ultimate aim of The Sovereign Project is to publish information which helps all of us, the Sovereigns of our democratic societies, make sense of the reality we live in – we call this “Sense-Making Information”.

Sense-Making Information is an alternative to what we call “No-Sense/Nonsense Information”.

To this end, we will be applying three ethics to our content:

  • Precision …
… is critically important when it comes to what is and isn’t real.
We endeavor to be as precise as resources and reality permit us to be – wherever that takes us.
  • Moderation …
… is the subtle secret to discovering the true nature of reality, which, often times, requires a nuanced, and therefore moderate, perspective.
  • Courage …
… is vital at a time when powerful forces prefer that the true nature of reality remain obscure, if not alien, to us.
